What we're building

A curated home for anime and Asian entertainment — not another endless grid.

KAVODA TV is being built for viewers who already love this content and are tired of hunting for it. Three things shape every decision we make.

Curation-first discovery

Rows built by people who watch this stuff, not by a recommendation engine guessing. Hand-built collections, clear reasons to press play, and a front page that changes because someone chose to change it.

Linear channels and a guide

Always-on themed channels for when you don't want to choose, with a proper programme guide behind them. Lean-back viewing that behaves like television, plus on-demand when you know what you want.

Built for US & UK fans

Anime, Korean drama and Asian film, programmed for two English-speaking markets from day one — subtitles and dubs treated as equals, and rights handled market by market so the shelf always matches the territory.

Illustrative interface — final lineup announced at launch.

For content partners

A clean, low-friction home for your catalogue.

We are a new service talking to licensors ahead of launch. No content agreements are signed yet — which means the shelf, the terms and the roadmap are still genuinely open.

  1. Non-exclusive carriage

We are not asking anyone to pull back from anywhere else. Non-exclusive, territory-scoped windows for the US and UK, with terms and durations that fit how you already licence.

  2. Your ad stack, untouched

Server-side ad insertion passes through exactly as you deliver it. We do not strip, replace or re-sell your breaks, and your ad decisioning stays yours.

  3. Transparent reporting

Regular reporting on plays, completion and impressions, broken out by title and channel — the numbers as they are, in a format your team can reconcile against its own.

  4. Fast, hands-on integration

Built and maintained by an experienced Roku and CTV developer, so integration is a direct technical conversation rather than a ticket in a queue. Standard HLS or DASH with an MRSS or JSON feed is enough to get started.

How a conversation usually starts

  1. Intro call. What you hold for the US and UK, and what you are willing to window.
  2. Terms and delivery spec. Rights, territories, reporting and ad handling agreed in writing.
  3. Integration and launch. Feed ingest, QA on device, and a slot in the launch line-up.

About

KAVODA LTD

KAVODA TV is operated by KAVODA LTD, a private company registered in England and Wales. The service is in development and has not launched.

The company was founded by Kuda Thomas, a developer who has spent his career shipping and maintaining apps on connected TV — the certification requirements, the device quirks, the performance budgets and the ad-serving realities that decide whether a streaming app is actually usable on a five-year-old television.

KAVODA TV is deliberately narrow: one audience, one promise, and a catalogue small enough to be curated honestly. We would rather launch with a shelf we can stand behind than a search box full of filler.
